Rather, they came filled with only around 2ml of juice and a battery that held just about enough charge for you to finish the 2ml of juice the vape contained.

How to charge a non-rechargeable Elf Bar – and why you don’t want to try

If you have an Elf Bar vape that isn’t designed to be recharged, is it still possible to recharge it?

The answer is that it probably is if you are determined to do so, but first let’s talk about why it’s not a smart idea to try.

Disposable vapes containing small amounts of vape juice offering only around 600 puffs aren’t designed to be recharged, and they don’t have a recharging port – so if you want to charge one, you’ll have to break it open to get to the battery.

Then, once you manage to expose the battery, you’ll need to connect open wires to the positive and negative terminals, and after you do this, there’s no inbuilt circuitry to protect you against overheating, fires or even explosions.

This means that doing so can be a risky business, but more than this, there’s not really any point in trying anyway.

If the battery has died, it means there’s probably very little juice left inside anyway, so if you manage to recharge it, you’ll probably only get a few more stale or burnt-tasting puffs from the dregs of the juice.

It’s possible that if you bought the vape but then forgot about it for a long time, the battery might have run down without you using it, in which case there might be a bit of juice left inside.

However, these devices are so cheap that it’s hardly worth the trouble, so our recommendation is just to throw them out and buy a new one.
